Wind-up clocks are rarely used these days. In my search for reusing materials, I came across the inside of time mechanisms. The mechanical parts are the starting point for my jewelry. Clocks and alarm clocks, but also pocket watches, in a new way I give shape to the links that are made with precision and craftsmanship.
What was once functional, now becomes visual. I make all jewelry by hand. From a large collection of cogs, winding keys and dials, I always make new compositions, which lead to unique pieces.
