On Tuesday March 4, 2025 Leo passed away suddenly.

On Wednesday March 12, his daughter Sereen with family, friends and colleagues from the Noordermarkt were able to say goodbye in the Nieuwe Ooster. It was a special service with swinging music and a dance to conclude.

On Saturday, March 15, there was another opportunity to sign the condolence book at the Noordermarkt.
