Paper nr 1: 400 years Noordermarkt

It was a rainy day, but a hopeful party: 400 YEARS NOORDERMARKT [1623-2023]; you rarely experience that in a lifetime. And that is what the guests and market entrepreneurs were able to experience on Saturday 23 September 2023. Despite or thanks to the rain, it was a particularly atmospheric party. We would like to thank Ans Markus, who introduced the presentation of newspaper/packing sheet no. 1 and said that she enjoyed her weekly visit to the Noordermarkt every Monday morning. The history of 400 years of Noordermarkt is discussed in text and images with unique photos from the past and present. Also thanks to our stall setter Fleysman and Gotje noten, who made the party possible. We toast to a hopeful future for the market and wish the market is here forever. We thanked the loyal market visitors of the Noordermarkt and warmly welcome new visitors.
